Krummenacker Brothers of Portage. My uncles (on my Mom’s side) Jim (left) and Charley (right), during WW-II. Jim was a Marine who saw action in the Pacific theater and was wounded on Guadalcanal. Charley was a bombardier in the Air Corps. After the war Jim worked as an organizer/officer for the United Mineworkers union and Charley became a fireman and served as Fire Chief for the city of Johnstown in the 1970’s and 80’s. Both are now deceased. Submitted by Walter Prozialeck
