Welcome! You are invited to take a Peek at our Eye-Catching photos of the past.  This is an extension to the site known as "Po's Peek at the Past" Magazine.

More new material has been added here for the summer. We are still very busy trying to transfer all the photos from our old site to this new location.  We are very close now to completion of this task.

To send us an old photo for possible inclusion here, please use the "contact us" page in our home site at

www.pospeek.com

The editor/site administrator reserves the right to edit or to not publish photos. Suggestions, ideas and old pic contributions are welcome.  Please don't ever be embarrassed by an old photo. If the editor can post this photo of one geeky, nerdy, shy, 8th grader at Adams-Summerhill; then you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Look what the cat dragged in this summer! Funny, the world in which we live is indeed getting smaller. This character to the left is Don Hudson of South Fork and a '66 grad of Triangle Area. His summer camp is close to the editor's cabin along Yellow Creek in Bedford County. Don was voted, "class clown" by his classmates.

He can spin some stories from back in the day too.

The gal Don married is a '66 grad of Adams-Summerhill.  Here's the lovely lady's '66

graduation photo to the right.  Po's Peek welcomes Don Hudson and Val Swansboro Hudson.

New photos have been added to the prom page also.

John Palko, left and Mike Panek, right. These two are side by side in their Penn Cambria class of '70.  John attended the SHIP with the site editor. We went job searching one summer in Atlantic City, NJ. Mike taught with the editor in the Northern Bedford School District for a while. Today he's the principal in the Tussey Mountain district.

The site editor kayaks past this couple's cottage along the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River in Bedford County. Po's Peek welcomes Dick and Jackie (Wirick) Schreier - both grads of Adams-Summerhill.

This crew will catch your eye!

Classmates of Don Hudson, above, from the Triangle Area Class of '66 include:

Right, Tom Casti, moderator and long time member of the original Po's Peek mod squad. Many of the old photos on this site have been submitted by Tom.

Left, Vick Balog - The Peek mail room received an email from a reader, the former, Mrs. Victor Balog.  Current where-abouts of neither one is currently available.

And right, Terry Anderko, the "intelligent" one of his classmates, and center-mike guard on the football team. According to Hudson, Terry would spit his snuff right into the face of his opposition on the first play of every game. He then would go to the official and say the other guy was taking cheap shots at him.  The official would watch the next play, and sure enough catch the player retaliating against Terry, and throw the flag.  Pretty smart move, when you think about it.
